The Operations Manager at Resort Elegance is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of all resort operations. This role involves coordinating with staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a positive work environment. The Operations Manager will also address and resolve any issues faced by the staff and ensure that the resort operations run seamlessly.

Role and Responsibility
  • Staff Management: Supervise and lead all department heads and staff. Conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback and coaching. Organize training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure that all departments (housekeeping, front desk, food and beverage, maintenance, etc.) are working efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service delivery and guest satisfaction. Coordinate with department heads to ensure all operational tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Regularly review guest feedback and implement necessary improvements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify operational issues and implement solutions to prevent disruptions. Provide support and guidance to staff in handling difficult situations. Ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed.
  • Team Building and Relationship Management: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Maintain strong working relationships with staff and management. Organize team-building activities and events to strengthen team bonds.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and financial planning for operational departments. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations. Analyze financial reports and implement measures to improve profitability.
  • Quality Control: Regularly inspect resort facilities to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Implement and monitor quality control measures across all departments. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular operational reports to the General Manager. Maintain accurate records of all operational activities and incidents. Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and up to date.
